Recommendations for use
Wanzhi GI Coil - Hot-dip galvanizing
Substrate Cleaning
Degreasing by alkaline washing → Descaling by acid washing → Water washing → Drying to ensure the surface is free from impurities.
Annealing process
Heating to approx. 800°C in a reducing atmosphere (H₂+N₂) to remove cold rolling stresses.
Galvanizing
Immersion in molten zinc solution (450-460°C) to complete galvanizing (zinc layer thickness 30-350g).
Cooling and post-treatment
Water quenching or air cooling → passivation (chromate/chromium-free) → oiling/coating to prevent rust.
Wanzhi GI Coil - Further Processing
By applying a layer of polyester, acrylic, epoxy, HDP, SMP, PVDF, PVC, and other organic coatings on the surface of GI coil, we can form a color-coated galvanized steel sheet that has multiple functions such as corrosion resistance, weather resistance, and decoration.
High corrosion resistance: zinc layer sacrificial protection, suitable for wet and light industrial environments.
High strength: High tensile strength, able to withstand large loads and external forces.
Low cost: more price advantageous than stainless steel, zinc-aluminum plated (GL), ZAM steel.
Good workability: suitable for stamping, bending, welding and other processes.
Beautiful surface: Spangle effect is available (no spangle/small spangle/large spangle).
