Hot-dip galvanizing: Steel is immersed in a high-temperature zinc solution, which deposits a thick layer of zinc on the surface of the steel, hot-dip galvanizing forms a spangle on the surface.

Electro galvanizing: The use of electrochemical processes in the steel surface to form a layer of zinc, the zinc layer is uniform but thinner than hot-dip galvanizing, and the surface is smooth and has zero spangles.

Galvalume plating: The steel surface is coated with a layer of zinc-aluminum alloy.

Prepainted galvanized: Galvanized or galvalume steel is coated with paint.
