Galvanized steel is steel coated with a pure zinc layer, and aluminized zinc steel is steel coated with a zinc-aluminum alloy. Outdoor construction requires materials with high resistance to weathering, heat, and corrosion. The advantage of galvanized steel in outdoor construction is lower cost, and the advantage of galvalume plated steel is better durability.
