ASTM A653 G60 Galvanized
G60 galvanized steel is one of the standards in Coating Grade ASTM A653. G60 stands for 0.6 ounces of zinc per square foot (0.6 oz/ft²). The production process is hot-dip galvanizing, and the surface is usually accompanied by irregular zinc spangles: small spangles, large spangles, and regular spangles. Of course, HDG steel with a thickness of less than 3.0mm can also be customized without spangles, but the processing cost will be higher.

G60 Zinc Coating Steel Uses
G60 galvanized steel has a yield strength of 270-350 MPa, elongation of 20% to 30%, can be formed and welded, and is mainly used in residential and commercial buildings for walls, roofs, and trim, as well as some outdoor environments where corrosion is common.
