ASTM A792 galvalume steel is a thermally aluminized zinc plated steel with the standard of aluminized zinc alloy coated steel sheet formulated by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM). AZ100-AZ150 aluminized zinc plated steel has a life expectancy of >40 years in a Class C2 rural environment, and 25 years without perforation in a Class C4 industrial environment (chemical plant), making it the anti-corrosion defender of the architectural and industrial fields.
ASTM A792 Galvalume Steel – Component
The surface of low carbon cold rolled steel plate is hot-dip coated with an aluminum-zinc alloy consisting of 55% aluminum (Al) + 43.4% zinc (Zn) + 1.6% silicon (Si).
