What is RAL 3020 Color Coated Steel Coil?
RAL3020 color coated steel coil uses GI or GL substrates with a roller-coated organic layer. Its bright “Traffic Red” is highly visible, ideal for warning, branding, and identification. - Superior Corrosion Resistance: The substrate uses hot-dip galvanized steel or 55% aluminum-zinc alloy coating, combined with a RAL3020 protective topcoat for double-layer corrosion protection. It resists acids, alkalis, salt spray, and humidity, offering 2-3 times longer service life than ordinary steel in coastal, industrial, or highly corrosive environments.
- Excellent Formability: The coil can be bent, sheared, stamped, profiled, or rolled. Even when bent 180°, the coating remains intact without cracking or peeling (adhesion rating 0-1), making it compatible with a wide range of steel fabrication processes.
- Lightweight, High Strength, and Structural Stability: The steel substrate has a strength of 220-550 MPa, providing high load-bearing capacity while remaining lightweight. It reduces structural load and construction costs for roofs and walls, with outstanding seismic and wind resistance.
