Wanzhi PPGI factory is located in Boxing County, Binzhou City, Shandong Province, China. The factory is ISO 9001 (quality management) and ISO 14001 (environmental protection) certified, and our prepared steel products meet international standards (e.g., ASTM A755, JIS G3312). We not only supply raw materials such as PPGI coils and PPGI sheets for different project applications but also provide additional services such as slitting, bending, stamping, forming, and other further processing.
Production Line in PPGI Factory
We have 3 PPGI lines and 1 PPGI board line in our factory, with an annual production capacity of 600,000 tons and a minimum order quantity of 10 tons. Our prepainted lines are capable of producing PPGI PPGL steel products with thicknesses of 0.12-1.5mm, widths of 600-1250mm, paint films (top coated: 10–40 microns, back coated 5-20 microns), and a wide range of colors and patterns.
Production Line
Process of PPGI Prepainted Galvanized Iron Coil and Sheet
PPGI structure: hot-dip galvanized steel or electro-galvanized steel, chemical conversion layer, primer, and topcoat.
PPGI production process: substrate preparation → surface treatment → chemical conversion → primer coating → top coating → baking and curing → cooling → quality control → winding/cutting → packaging
- Substrate: GI steel, or GL steel, (must meet ASTM A653 or JIS G3302 standard)
- Surface treatment: Remove grease and impurities from the steel surface with an alkaline degreasing solution and wash with a high-pressure spray.
- Chemical conversion film: GI GL steel is phosphated/chromate to form a phosphate or chromate conversion film.
- Overcoating: Primer is applied with epoxy resin or polyester primer with a film of 5–20 microns. Topcoat: Choose polyester PE, silicon modified polyester SMP, polyvinylidene fluoride coated PVDF, high weathering polyester coated HDP and other functional topcoats, paint film 10–40 microns.
- Printing: The painted steel can be printed with embossed, wood, stone, and brick patterns by printing rollers.
- Curing: Bake at high temperature to cure the coating.
- Cooling: Water or air cooling to below 40℃.
- Quality Inspection: Inspection of color difference, adhesion, coating thickness, etc. on the surface of color-coated steel.
- Further processing: PPGI coil can be slit, cut, and bent according to requirements.
- Packing: Moisture-proof film, rust-proof paper, galvanized iron, and steel tape. (Customized logo is available)
