How are Color Coated Panels Made?
PPGI steel Panels are made by cutting, bending, and pressing PPGI coil or PPGI sheet. Wanzhi currently has 2 production lines dedicated to color-coated steel and one production line for writing boards, which can produce color-coated products with topcoats ranging from 10-40 microns and primers ranging from 5 to 20 microns. - Galvanizing: Cold rolled or hot rolled sheet as substrate, with a zinc coating on the surface.
- Pre-treatment: Remove impurities from the galvanized sheet and chemically treat it to form a chemical conversion layer.
- Painting: The steel surface is first coated with a primer, and then rolled to apply one or more layers of paint.
- Drying: The paint is heated at a high temperature to make the paint and the steel plate closely bonded.
- Cutting: Cutting into specified shapes and sizes as required.
- Forming: Use a forming machine to press the color coated sheet into the specified surface structure.
- Quality inspection: Test the appearance and performance.
- Packing: After passing the test, pack the products in strict accordance with the export standard.
