8K Stainless Steel Processing
Cold-rolled, annealed, and pickled steel sheet (BA/2B stainless steel substrate) → Rough polishing → Medium polishing → Fine polishing → Ultra-fine polishing (mirror roller + polishing paste) → 8K stainless steel finished product.
Production
- Basic treatment: Austenitic stainless steels such as 304 and 316L, or ferritic stainless steels such as 430, are used as the raw material.
- Pre-polishing: Rough polishing tools such as flap wheels and abrasive belts are used with polishing paste to remove scale from the stainless steel surface.
- Mirror polishing: Soft polishing tools such as wool wheels and flannel wheels are used with diamond polishing paste to reduce surface roughness and achieve an 8K mirror finish.
- Cleaning: Deionized water and ultrasonic cleaning are used to remove polishing residue.
Surface treatment (optional)
- Apply a PE or PET protective film (50-100μm thick) to prevent scratches during transportation and installation.
- Coated with a fingerprint-resistant oil film

- Mirror Reflectivity ≥ 600 Gu (measured at a 60° angle)
- Surface Roughness: Ra ≤ 0.02 μm (8K standard)
