Titanium Coating Sheet

Wanzhi Group’s Titanium Coating Sheet is not pure titanium, but rather feature a titanium coating applied to various metal substrates through advanced PVD coating technology. It combines high-end decorative appeal (offering luxurious colors like Champagne Gold and Black Titanium), strong corrosion resistance, high abrasion resistance, and easy cleanability. Widely used in architectural decoration, home hardware, and high-end electronic equipment, it serves as an ideal surface solution balancing aesthetics and exceptional performance.

Titanium Coating Sheet Types

Titanium Coating Sheets leverage the combined properties of “substrate performance + titanium coating advantages” for extensive applications in decoration, industry, and home furnishings. Among these, stainless steel titanium-coated sheets, aluminum titanium-coated sheets, and iron-based titanium-coated sheets are popular types offered by Wanzhi Group.

Stainless Steel Titanium Coating Sheets

Stainless Steel Titanium-Coated Sheets utilize premium 304 or 316 stainless steel as the substrate, with a titanium coating applied to the surface.

Advantages

  • Substrate + Coating: Dual corrosion resistance from stainless steel base and titanium coating
  • Premium Decorative Finish: Achieves mirror-like (gloss ≥90°), brushed (straight/random grain), or sandblasted (matte) surface textures.
  • Structural Strength: Retains the superior structural integrity of stainless steel.
  • Long-Term Durability: Extended service life without periodic repainting or refurbishment.

Applications

  • Premium architectural decoration
  • High-end elevator interiors
  • Hotel entrance doors
  • Stair railings
  • Kitchen appliances
  • Medical equipment
  • Industrial machinery

Aluminum Titanium Coating Sheets

Aluminum titanium-coated panels use 6061, 5052, or other aluminum alloy sheets as the base material, with a titanium coating applied to the surface.

Aluminum Coils
Aluminum Coils

Advantages

  • Ultra-lightweight: Aluminum density is only 2.7 g/cm³, one-third that of stainless steel and half that of iron.
  • High Machinability: Enables complex shape processing
  • Excellent Thermal Conductivity & Heat Dissipation: Aluminum thermal conductivity 202 W/(m·K)
  • Moderate Cost: Aluminum substrate costs 30%-50% less than stainless steel
  • Durability: Wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant

Applications

  • Building curtain wall edging
  • Curtain wall support components
  • Home appliance structural parts
  • Air conditioner outdoor unit decorative panels
  • Automotive trim strips
  • Ceiling moldings
  • Signage and labels
  • Complex irregular decorative components

Iron-Based Titanium Coating Sheets

Material: Iron-based substrates (cold-rolled steel, carbon steel) with electroplated or PVD titanium coating. Galvanized steel sheet used in specific scenarios (enhances base corrosion resistance).

Advantages

  • Cost-effective: Lowest cost compared to titanium-coated stainless steel or aluminum sheets.
  • High mechanical strength: Superior tensile strength and hardness over aluminum.
  • Excellent decorative properties: Can substitute stainless steel titanium-coated sheets in certain applications.

Applications

  • Hardware fittings
  • Metal handles
  • Support feet
  • Decorative props (e.g., metal ornaments, figurines)
  • Lighting fixture bases
  • Shelf trim

Titanium Coating Sheet and Similar Materials

In addition to Titanium Coating Sheet, Wanzhi Group offers several popular colored metal materials, including Pure Titanium Plate, Gold-Plated Sheet, PPGI Color-Coated Sheet, etc. As outstanding corrosion-resistant metals, they play vital roles in construction, industrial production, high-end decoration, medical applications, energy, aerospace, and other fields.

Color Stainless Steel - Surface

Pure Titanium Plate

Produced through a multi-step process of “vacuum melting – hot rolling – cold rolling – annealing” using 100% titanium metal. As an uncoated material, its processing cost is 300%-500% higher than that of coated titanium sheets.

  • Properties: Density of only 4.51 g/cm³ (approximately 57% of stainless steel and 60% of iron), tensile strength ranging from 500 to 1000 MPa (depending on purity grade; e.g., TA1 pure titanium at 500 MPa, TA2 at 600 MPa), elongation ≥20%.
  • Advantages: Ultra-lightweight, high strength-to-weight ratio, excellent biocompatibility, and top-tier corrosion resistance among all metals.
  • Applications: Aerospace, chemical equipment, deep-sea engineering, medical implants, high-end architectural roofing.

Gold-Plated Sheets

Electrochemically deposits a gold coating onto substrates (e.g., copper, stainless steel), categorized as “hard gold plating” or “soft gold plating.” Both processes cost 8-15 times more than PVD-coated titanium sheets.

  • Advantages: Soft texture, distinctive luxurious golden luster, excellent electrical conductivity.
  • Applications: Luxury jewelry, high-end watch components, trophies and medals, electronic circuit contacts.

PPGI Color-Coated Steel

PPGI steel involves coating the substrate (typically galvanized steel or galvanized aluminum-zinc steel) with one or more layers of colored organic coatings (such as polyester, PVDF, or high-weatherability polyester). It is cost-effective and one of the most common colored metal materials.

  • Performance: Service life of 8-30 years, gloss retention rate of 60%-80%, Salt spray test resistance up to 300 hours
  • Advantages: Extremely diverse color options, low cost, high production efficiency, easy processing, excellent corrosion resistance.
  • Applications: Roofing and wall cladding for industrial plants, warehouses, logistics centers, prefabricated buildings, residential, and commercial structures.
