Color Galvanized Coil – PCM
PCM stands for Pre-Coated Metal Coil. Color galvanized coil, where organic coatings are applied to galvanised steel coils, is one type of pre-painted steel coil; others include colour galvalume, etc. Pre-coating offers high cost-effectiveness and a rich colour palette, making it the preferred coating process for corrosion-resistant metal materials in construction and other sectors.
Process
- Wanzhi Group’s PCM Coil undergoes cleaning and chemical pre-treatment on galvanized, galvalume or electro-galvanised substrates. Liquid coatings (such as polyester, silicone-modified polyester, PVDF, etc.) are uniformly applied via precision roller coating equipment, followed by high-temperature baking for curing.

Color Galvanized Coil – VCM
VCM stands for laminated coated steel sheet. Wanzhi Group’s laminated sheets are primarily manufactured using cold-rolled steel, galvanised steel, and aluminium alloy as substrate materials. Laminated coated colour galvanised coil plays a significant role in high-end architectural decoration and home appliances due to its advantages of realistic patterns, three-dimensional texture, and strong design appeal.
Process
- For VCM Sheets, a high-performance adhesive primer is first applied to the galvanised or cold-rolled substrate. Subsequently, through a high-temperature, high-pressure lamination process, plastic films (such as PET or PVC) printed with diverse patterns are permanently bonded to the steel surface.

- Decorative: The outer film can replicate any pattern—wood grain, stone texture, fabric weave, leather, or even 3D relief—delivering visual impact and tactile quality far surpassing prepainted steel coil.
- Authentic tactility: Simulates the feel of genuine materials.
- Scratch resistance: The coating enhances VCM sheet with superior scratch resistance, fingerprint resistance, and chemical durability.
