Substrate Selection
Galvanized Steel (GI 99%zinc): The most economical and versatile choice, meeting the needs of most building and industrial applications.
Aluminized Zinc Steel (GL/55%Al-Zn): An upgraded version of GI, ideal for coastal, industrial, and high-temperature applications (such as metal roofing).
Plain Steel (CS): Suitable for specific indoor or short-term protective applications, lowest cost.
Coating Selection
Process: Wanzhi PPGI typically uses a two-layer coating structure of “primer + topcoat,” with a standard of two coats and two bakes (two sprays, two bakes). Common options include one coat and one bake, three coats and three bakes, etc.
Structure: Substrate + high-performance epoxy primer + topcoat, with optional protective film.
Thickness: Front side typically 10-40μm, back side 5-20μm. Thickness can be increased according to corrosion protection life requirements.
Coatings:
- Polyester: Rich colors, high cost-performance ratio.
- Silicone-modified polyester: Significantly improved weather resistance and gloss retention.
- Polyvinylidene fluoride: Top-tier weather resistance (20-30 year warranty), good self-cleaning properties.
Gloss: High gloss (≥70°), semi-matte (40-60°), matte (≤30°) adjustable.
Back Coating: Standard is back paint, providing basic protection. It can be adjusted to oiling or left untreated as needed.
Color: We provide internationally recognized standard color charts, RAL, Pantone, etc. Color difference ΔE ≤ 1.0.
Appearance Options
Textured Surfaces: Standard flat surface (suitable for home appliances and general construction); customizable with special textures such as wood grain, stone grain, orange peel texture, and matte texture, as well as embossed/relief textures with three-dimensional patterns such as leather texture and diamond pattern.
Printed Textures: Customizable high-definition printed patterns with complex decorative effects such as wood grain, stone grain, brick wall, and geometric patterns, as well as special effect surfaces containing metallic glitter powder, hammered/sand-textured paint.
