Recently, 120 tons of prepainted galvalume steel coils (PPGL coils) ordered by a Kenyan client from Wanzhi Group have been manufactured and inspected. The coils will be shipped to Mombasa Port, Kenya. This order comprised multiple specifications and colors, and the coils are primarily used by the client to manufacture building materials for their end customers.
Customer Background
The customer is a Kenyan metal processing and distribution company with established local distribution channels. They regularly source prepainted steel products from China for customers in the construction, industrial, home appliance, and other sectors.
Having learned about Wanzhi Group’s previous exports to Kenya, the customer contacted us to discuss their PPGL requirements. During the evaluation process, they reviewed our export experience, product certifications, factory capabilities, and supply capacity. After verifying our qualifications and manufacturing capabilities, the customer reached an agreement with Wanzhi Group and placed an order for approximately 120 tons of PPGL coils.

Production and Quality Control
Wanzhi Group operates three prepainted steel production lines, ensuring efficient production and stable supply. For this 120-ton order, production was completed within 13 days. Strict quality control was implemented throughout the production process, with production photos and videos provided to the customer to keep them informed of the production progress. After production, the PPGL coils underwent final inspections, including Al-Zn coating weight, dimensional accuracy, paint thickness, and mechanical properties. The shipment was accompanied by a Mill Test Certificate (MTC) and comprehensive inspection reports.
