The 72 tons of DX51D+Z80 galvanized steel coils ordered by our Liberia customer from Wanzhi Group last month have been produced and inspected. The coils have been packaged and will be transported to Qingdao Port, China, for shipment to the customer’s factory in Liberia.
Customer Requirements
The customer has its own roofing sheet processing factory in Liberia. The galvanized steel coils were purchased to produce roofing sheets for local sales. The customer found Wanzhi Group through our factory production videos on YouTube and contacted us. After reviewing our production equipment, certifications, and export experience, the customer chose to cooperate with Wanzhi Group on this order.
Order Details
Wanzhi produced 72 tons of DX51D+Z80 galvanized steel coils in 0.5mm (thickness) × 1250 mm (width) for the Liberia customer. The order was completed within 12 days and shipped from Qingdao Port, China, under FOB terms to Monrovia, Liberia.
GI Coil Processing and Applications
GI coils can be further processed into strips, sheets, profiles, and other steel products for different applications.
- Slitting: GI coils can be slit into galvanized steel strips of various widths. These strips are used for light steel studs, cable trays, guardrails, door frames, and hardware components.
- Cut-to-Length: GI coils can be cut into fixed-length sheets for roofing and wall panels, ventilation ducts, appliance housings, equipment enclosures, and shelving.
- Forming: GI coils can be cold-formed into profiles such as C-shaped steel, Z-shaped steel, light steel studs, and other structural sections.
- Further Processing: GI coils can be processed by punching, bending, stamping, and other methods to produce brackets, connectors, hardware parts, and other components.
- PPGI Production: GI coils can serve as a substrate for producing prepainted galvanized steel coils and sheets used in roofing, wall cladding, construction products, and appliance applications.
