Red Coating Systems
- PE: An economical coating offering a wide range of colors and good gloss. However, it is prone to fading and chalking when used long-term in areas with intense sunlight, making it more suitable for interior applications or environments with adequate shading.
- SMP: SMP is not commonly used because it is more expensive than PE but does not offer the same weather resistance as HDP; HDP is generally the preferred choice.
- HDP: An upgraded version of conventional polyester coatings, offering better abrasion resistance and significantly improved UV resistance compared to traditional polyester.
- PVDF: Currently recognized as the roofing coating with the best performance, containing at least 70% fluorocarbon resin. It features excellent resistance to UV aging, color retention, and chemical corrosion, maintaining vibrant colors for over 20 years.
Red Color Range
Based on the RAL color system, we typically offer standard colors such as RAL 3003 (Scarlet), RAL 3013 (Tomato Red), RAL 3020 (Traffic Red), and RAL 3028 (Burgundy). Special effects such as matte red, metallic red, gradient red, and pearlescent red are also available upon request.
Types and Manufacturing Processes
Types of Red Corrugated Roofing Sheets
- Red PPGI Corrugated Sheets: The most commonly used type of corrugated sheet. It is made by coating high-quality galvanized steel coils (zinc content: 30–275 g/m²) with red paint and then forming them into the desired corrugated sheets.
- Red PPGL Corrugated Sheets: Offering superior corrosion resistance compared to PPGI, these sheets are made from high-quality aluminum-zinc steel coils, coated with paint, and then pressed into corrugated sheets.
- Red PPAL Corrugated Sheets: Made from an aluminum alloy substrate, these sheets are over 30% lighter than steel sheets, never rust, and offer exceptional weather resistance. They are suitable for high-end buildings requiring high corrosion resistance and lightweight construction.
Manufacturing Process
Using continuous cold-forming roll-forming technology, red coiled material (PPGI/PPGL/PPAL) is progressively formed into standard corrugated or trapezoidal profiles through multiple precision rollers. The entire process is fully automated, ensuring high profile accuracy, no stress-induced deformation, and zero damage to the surface coating.
