0.5mm PPGI Coil Manufacturing Process
- Uncoiling: Uncoil the galvanized steel coil and prepare the strip for surface treatment.
- Cleaning & Pretreatment: Clean and chemically treat the strip to remove impurities and improve paint adhesion.
- Primer Coating: Apply a primer to enhance corrosion resistance and improve coating adhesion.
- Top & Back Coating: Apply the specified paint to both sides to achieve the required color, finish, and protection.
- Curing & Cooling: Pass the coated strip through a curing oven, then cool it to stabilize the coating.
- Inspection: Check dimensions, coating quality, surface condition, color, and mechanical properties.
- Recoiling & Packaging: Recoil the finished 0.5mm PPGI strip and package it for safe storage and shipment.
Pattern and Surface Finish of 0.5mm PPGI Coil
- Color & Pattern: RAL colors are available, with color matching based on RAL cards or customer samples. Custom patterns include wood grain, brick, camouflage, floral, marble, grass, traffic warning patterns, and other decorative designs.

How to Select the Right Paint for PPGI?
Paint Type by Climate
- Mild or dry climates: PE is generally suitable for standard construction and indoor applications.
- Hot and sunny climates: SMP or HDP is preferred for better UV resistance and weatherability.
- Humid or rainy climates: HDP provides improved weatherability and long-term durability.
- Coastal or high-UV environments: PVDF is recommended for excellent UV resistance, weatherability, and color retention.
Color Selection
