With its unique “55% Aluminum – 43.4% Zinc – 1.6% Silicon ternary alloy coating”, it achieves an excellent balance of corrosion resistance, heat resistance, and economy. It is widely used in coastal construction, high-temperature industries, high-end appliances, and other fields that demand higher requirements for corrosion and weather resistance.

GL Sheet Process

Wanzhi GL Sheet is produced using a continuous hot-dip process. The steel substrate is immersed in a molten bath of aluminum-zinc-silicon alloy (approx. 600°C), forming a dense alloy coating. After cooling, the coating exhibits a unique bright silver spangle. The GL coating combines the oxidation resistance of aluminum, the cathodic protection of zinc, and the optimizing effect of silicon. This results in a product with a corrosion resistance lifespan 2-4 times that of pure zinc coatings under equivalent conditions. It also boasts excellent heat resistance (withstanding temperatures up to 315°C) and heat reflectivity, specifically designed for harsh outdoor, high-temperature, and coastal environments.

Commercial Grade (e.g., DX51D+AZ, DC51D+AZ (EN 10346))

  • Good flatness and general formability, suitable for building envelopes, general structural components, ventilation ducts, etc.

Structural Grade (e.g., S350GD+AZ, Q235B+AZ (GB/T 12754))

  • High strength, yield strength ≥350MPa, suitable for load-bearing purlins, building frames, shelves, and other load-bearing structures.

Drawing Grade (e.g., DX53D+AZ, DC53D+AZ (EN 10346))

  • Higher elongation (≥24%), suitable for components requiring shallow drawing or roll forming, such as some appliance housings.

Deep Drawing Grade (e.g., DX56D+AZ, DC56D+AZ (EN 10346))

  • Excellent ductility (elongation ≥30%), capable of meeting complex deep drawing needs, used for high-end precision components.

Profiled Sheet (Aluzinc Profiled Sheet)

GL Coil is roll-formed into various profiles (corrugated, trapezoidal, standing seam), with lengths customized as required. Used as high-performance roofing/wall panels, especially ideal for photovoltaic mounting substrates, large-span buildings, coastal structures, and industrial plants demanding extreme corrosion and weather resistance.
Advantages: Stronger wind load resistance, ultra-long lifespan, high heat reflectivity, excellent salt spray corrosion resistance, aesthetically pleasing and bright.

Sandwich Panel (Aluzinc Sandwich Panel)

GL Sheet (face/back sheet) + insulation core material (rock wool, polyurethane, glass wool) composite formation. Used for partition walls, façades, enclosures, etc., in chemical plants, seafood markets, coastal cold storage, food processing plants with high requirements for corrosion, heat, and moisture resistance.
Advantages: Corrosion-resistant, heat-resistant, thermally insulating, soundproof, high strength, long lifespan.

Pre-painted Sheet (PPGL Sheet, Pre-painted Aluzinc Sheet)

High-performance coatings (PE, HDP, PVDF, SMP, etc.) are applied to the surface of high-quality GL Coil and cured at high temperature (220-250°C) to form a colored coating. Its weather resistance is 2-3 times that of PPGI Sheet.
Core Features: Superior weather resistance, long-lasting color/ excellent fade resistance, combines decorative appeal with protective properties.
