What Is Z120 Galvanized Steel Sheet?

Z120 galvanized steel sheet is steel coated with zinc through a continuous hot-dip galvanizing process. Under EN 10346, “Z” denotes a zinc coating, while “120” indicates a nominal total coating mass of 120 g/m² on both sides. During production, steel strip is cleaned, annealed, and passed through molten zinc, where a controlled zinc layer forms on its surface. The galvanized strip is then processed into sheets by leveling, cutting, and other finishing operations.
