Production Process of Hot Dip Galvanized Steel Coil
- Raw material feeding: Use cold rolled / hot rolled low carbon steel coils as substrate.
- Uncoiling: Unwind steel strip for continuous production.
- Surface pre-treatment: Degreasing, pickling and rinsing to remove oil and rust.
- Continuous annealing: Heat steel strip under protective atmosphere to enhance zinc coating adhesion.
- Hot dip galvanizing: Immerse strip into molten zinc bath to form metallurgical Fe-Zn alloy coating.
- Air knife wiping: Adjust air pressure to control uniform zinc coating weight on both sides of the strip.
- Cooling: Combined control of zinc bath trace alloy composition and cooling speed to produce big, regular, minimized & zero spangle per customized demands.
- Post-treatment: Passivation, anti-fingerprint coating or oiling per customized requirements.
- Finishing: Skin pass, slitting, recoiling and full inspection before delivery.
