S220GD galvanized steel, S220GD galvalume steel, S220GD ZAM steel are the three common plated steels, which are represented by the grade + coating designation.
- SXXXGD: Indicates structural grade hot-dip galvanized steel sheet, with the following hot-gate grades: S220GD, S250GD, S280GD, S320GD, S350GD, S550GD.
- S = Structural steel.
- XXX = Specified lower limit of minimum yield strength in MPa. For example, 220 indicates a minimum yield strength of 220 MPa and 350 indicates a minimum yield strength of 350 MPa.
