The customer operates a local sheet metal processing factory and has extensive purchasing experience. They have been sourcing color-coated steel products from China for further processing and sales in local and neighboring markets. The customer contacted Wanzhi Group after learning about our in-house factory and well-equipped production lines. PPGL Coil Usages in Panama
Panama has a tropical climate characterized by high temperatures, high humidity, and heavy rainfall. Coastal areas are also exposed to salt-laden air, increasing the risk of corrosion for metal building materials. These conditions create demand for roofing and cladding materials with good corrosion and weather resistance.
PPGL coated coils combine the corrosion protection of aluminum-zinc alloy coatings with the decorative and protective properties of color coatings. DX51D+AZ150 PPGL Coil Solutions
The DX51D substrate offers good formability, while the AZ150 aluminum-zinc coating provides corrosion protection. The PE paint finish adds surface protection and decorative appeal. RAL 9002 gives the coils a clean, light appearance that suits various building designs. For this order, the customer selected a thickness of 0.50 mm and a width of 1250 mm. Wanzhi Group also offers PPGL coils with AZ30–AZ150 coatings, thicknesses of 0.12–2.0 mm, and widths of 600–1250 mm to meet different project requirements.
Quality Control and Inspection
Wanzhi Group implements strict quality control throughout the entire production process to ensure consistent PPGL coil quality. Key inspections cover dimensional accuracy, aluminum-zinc coating weight, paint film thickness, color consistency, mechanical properties, and coating adhesion. Mill Test Certificates (MTCs) are available. We also accept third-party inspections by independent agencies such as SGS and BV, arranged by customers.
